et another exciting step forward for Toshiba with the launch of the HD-EP35 HD DVD player. It will output high definition content in 720p, 1080i and 1080p - the best high definition video output. The HD-EP35 will up-scale standard definition DVD to produce images close to these same high definition outputs. Movie fans get a real treat with the HD-EP35, with increased vibrancy and color detail thanks to the HDMI deep color function and the 24fps feature which produces a true cinema-like feel to film - replicating the original 24 frames per second format for movie theater projection. For a true home-cinema experience, sound quality has to match the color and clarity of high definition images and the HD-EP35 puts in a strong performance. It supports the very latest surround sound formats from Dolby and DTS, and supports 7.1 channel bit-stream output (via HDMI) for an audio experience guaranteed to impress all who hear it. Much has been made of the real advantage of the HD DVD format, namely the incomparable interactivity offered, with the built-in Ethernet port allowing access to the internet for unique content, special offers and a whole host of interactive features designed to give viewers an unrivaled audio visual experience.
