Installation is a breeze with these cards using the AutoLink software, which consists of a single step procedure. Full SNMP management is available through the integrated Transcend PC Link SmartAgent software, and since it is Desktop Management Interface (DMI) enabled, it can be managed by any DMI-compliant software. Also included is the EtherDisk software, which contains drivers for most of the popular operating systems. There is also the Parallel Tasking Architecture that increases throughput and bus mastering for low CPU utilization for the performance you would expect from 3Com.
