The new 3Com EtherLink Server 10/100/1000 PCI Network Interface Card provides the fastest Ethernet technology available for PC-Servers. It delivers up to ten-fold increase in performance over existing Fast Ethernet. Upgrading a Fast Ethernet connection to Gigabit Ethernet requires no new cabling because the EtherLink Server 10/100/1000 runs over Industry standard Category 5 copper cable. Designed and built for high performance high availability mission critical server connections, the EtherLink Server 10/100/1000 NIC comes standard with 3Com DynamicAccess technology with advanced server features that provide/transmit/receive traffic load balancing across multiple NICs and switches. This PCI Network Interface Card supports many Server features such as Resilient Server Links (RSL) providing fault tolerant connections from the server to the network.
