Asanté GigaNIC 1064SX PCI Adapter supports most popular operating systems to provide maximum flexibility. 64-bit PCI bus master at 33 MHz provides 2 Gbps throughput to the host computer and full 64-bit OS memory addressing (1 Gigabit throughput in 32 bit PCI Slot.) Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) checksum off-loading capability reduces CPU overhead for maximum performance. For high traffic server applications large internal FIFO (memory) maximizes throughput by minimizing retransmission when connected to multiple clients under heavy loads.
