In addition, Lexmark's enhanced dot matrix family makes forms printing a quieter process than before at 53dBa. For minimum user intervention, 9-wire printers offer a 300 million character printhead at 14 dots per character, while 24-wire printers come with a printhead that lasts 300 million strokes per wire. For optimized printing flexibility the Forms Printer 2400 Series provide IBM, Epson and optional OKI Microline emulations. To maximize your connectivity there is Automatic Interface Switching between the standard Parallel and USB port and the optional internal Serial port. Options like Coax/Twinax SCS adapters and external Ethernet and Token Ring are part of the package. Thanks to high performance printheads designed to last for years and their extremely robust construction the Forms Printer 2400 Series will deliver the print quality you demand - even in hostile and dusty environments.
