The Philips Adtraxion Manager in combination with the Adtraxion Player are core elements of the Adtraxion Digital Signage Solution. The Manager is a user-friendly software package to generate play out sequences, scheduling and distribution to the players. The modular architecture makes Adtraxion Manager future proof. The Adtraxion Manager has an easy-to-use, graphical user interface that enables play out sequences to be composed, edited and then sent to the Adtraxion Players. Play out sequences are an accumulation of items in the form of a schedule. All the items selected for viewing are shown on the menu screen (thumbnail, graphic or list). New files can be easily added as required to build up a schedule. The Adtraxion Manager software features a file-sharing mechanism that optimizes bandwidth use when transferring files to multiple Players. The content schedule is downloaded to the Player so that there's no need for a permanent network connection between the Player and the Manager, which means a considerable saving on connection costs. Content schedules can be adjusted at any time simply by selecting items to run in a particular sequence and on a specific day. The required changes are made in the Adtraxion Manager application.
